Rolling Oaks Golf Course
A challenging and beautiful layout!
Rolling Oaks Golf Course in Barron originally opened as a nine-hole course in 1980 before another nine was added in 1999, making it the course you see today. The course features rolling, tree-lined fairways and large greens with subtle contours. More than half the holes on the course are severe doglegs that will require some careful maneuvering. To add some variety to the course there are also some links-style holes that have tall native grasses coming into play. The abundant wetlands including lakes, ponds, streams, and marshes, provide water hazards on several holes. There are a few sand traps but they were added sparingly in order to let the natural hazards shine. Rolling Oaks Golf Course has a challenging layout that requires tremendous accuracy, but it is more approachable than it seems.

am just visiting, but WOW what great greens. I golf in the Tidewater Golfweek Amateur Tour out of Virginia Beach and I have not had the pleasure of golfing on such fabulous greens anywhere in the last 3 years, including several courses at Hilton Head during the National Championships. The greens at Rolling Oaks are equal to those at the Legends Golf Resort in Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. It was a great pleasure to play here.

Good golf course that is fantastic for golfers of any skill. Not too challenging for the beginner golfer but it is still fun for any golfer. Basic bar with chips and snacks, and you can buy golf balls and tees there. It is very fun to go out and play nine or 18 holes, and the rates are not that expensive. Next door they have a supper club which is a Wisconsin institution but is where you would go after a round of golf to get a good dinner. Overall really good restaurant and golf course.
